Summer Movie List!
Monday, April 22, 2013
Let's set some goals!
- Make the most of my internship at Living History Farms- I'm super excited for this opportunity and want to use it to its fullest, including making friends with other interns, networking with employees and volunteers and doing well in the academic portion of the program.
- I want to take tons of photos over the summer and post them here for you guys!
- I'll be posting my summer book list in my next post. I want to read at least half of those books over the summer.
- Summer movie list will come after the book list! I'll prolly be working on this list forever but i wanna get through.....lets say a quarter of them over the summer.
- I want to go to Zombie Burger!!!- I've never been there and hear that it's awesome, so I might just have to treat myself.
- I should prolly learn how to drive...(don't make fun, I never got around to it)

New additions
1. Owl Bank(for all of my important extra change needs!
2.Alice in Wonderland plushes.(so soft and cute and cuddly and fun)
3. Books!! (Including: Alice in Wonderland, Pride and Prejudice, Maus, etc.)
4. Movies!!(Love expanding my movie collection and the 5 dollar bin at walmart had some great finds this year)
5. Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility(Okay, so I love Harvest Moon to begin with and i'm not going to debate the "It's stupid cuz it's farming" thing because I will never be a good farmer outside of this game and its still a better game than Farmville)
6. An addiction to Geek Chic Cosmetics (I found this company online, they're based out of Oregon and have totally awesome makeup lines based off of fan bases for shows like: My Little Pony, Legend of Zelda, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, etc. The pricing is supper reasonable when you take into account that all products are handmade, vegan and cruelty free and in certain cases gluten free. Plus the colors are truly inspired and lovely, I'll prolly be posting about them more but click the company name to get to their site and see for yourself.)
7. Mustache Magnets(Found these at the University Bookstore and had to have them.....i don't think I need to explain )

Family Friendly Halloween Movie List!! Halloween Series: Part 4
- Casper (1995)- This is probably one of my favorite movies from childhood, I had such a crush on the "real boy" version of Casper
- It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)- This is probably a classic from when you were a child too, so its great to be able to share this with your kids.
- Hocus Pocus (1993)- I make a point to watch this movie once a year at this time so, it's clearly a great flick.
- Little Vampire(2000)-I think the kids in this movie are just too cute, pluegreat message about overcoming fears and the like.
- Nightmare Before Christmas(1993)- This one is from my childhood, I was probably like 5 when I first saw it. That said, it scared the crap out of me so wait for this one til the kids are alittle older.
- Corpse Bride(2005)- I think this is sooo cute, it falls in the same category as Nightmare Before Christmas though, so better for kids alittle bit older.
That's my list for you! By the end of it, it's time for the kiddies to hit the sack and for you to pick up the mess of candy wrappers and costumes. Stay tuned for more super Halloween fun!1

Getting into summer
So summer has started going and I'm seriously into the flow. My days are filling up with plans, starting with:
- cookouts
- swimming outings
- midnight movies
- days at Adventureland
- trips around Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska.
- concerts
- much more :)
Thursday is the start of all these plans, starting with a friend's grad party, going to the X-men: First Class midnight premier, and ending with 3AM pancakes. Sounding pretty good to me. Not that all the plans take away from plain old relaxing time. Heck, despite 2 cookouts, a visit with my grandparents and a couple parties, I've still been able read 4 books cover to cover in the past 3 days. It's gonna be a good summer from what I can tell :D

Late Nights and future plans!!!
So moral of the story: this is a great boredom buster!! So maybe anytime I find a movie I wanna see, I'll create a look for it, prolly not but still. And no this isn't interchangable with the Incredible Hulk, cuz that would require purple along with the green.
